Mrs. Amy Romero

Amy Romero serves as an Adjunct Instructor at KC's Family Tae Kwon Do, where she brings a rich history of martial arts expertise and a passion for teaching. Holding a third-degree black belt, Amy is diligently preparing for her fourth-degree testing in March 2025. She specializes in instructing high beginners and co-leads the transformative quarterly boot camps that help students refine their skills and prepare for belt testing exams.

Amy's journey with KC’s spans nearly 16 years, during which she has not only excelled as a student but also achieved state championship titles in both sparring and forms. Beyond the dojo, she contributes to her community as an administrator in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District, bringing her leadership skills to both educational and martial arts arenas.

Looking ahead, Amy is committed to deepening her involvement in martial arts, with a keen interest in mentoring martial artists of all ages, helping them discover their strength and refine their skills just as she has.
