Miss Andrea Varela

Miss Andrea is a 2nd Degree Black Belt (training for 3rd Degree testing in April 2021) and is one of our most experienced Instructors. While she is a Certified Instructor and teaches all ages of TKD classes at KC’s, she has a special place in her heart for the young ones that she leads where she teaches with confidence and inspires through her example with black belt excellence. She is a member of the X-TEAM and is known for her incredible high kicks. Her goal is to study education in college and become a teacher, a pursuit that has definitely been influenced by the experiences afforded to her as a Black Belt in the KC's Leadership Program.

My daughter has been going to KC's for a couple of years now - she started as a Little Dragon and has worked her way up to the big kid classes. All the instructors at KC's are fantastic with the kids - they are encouraging and fun while maintaining respect and discipline from the kids. They work with everyone on their level and push them without judging limitations. Their antibullying work with the kids is tremendous and they are making a difference in our children's schools and in our community. And KC's Family Tae Kwon Do is just that - a family. You are welcomed in when you start and we have always felt treated with warmth and kindness by everyone there. It's a great place to be!
