Master Karen Conover

A student of Jhoon Rhee Institute Tae Kwon Do and American Freestyle Tae Kwon Do, Master Conover received her 1st Degree with Honors from Master Francis Pineda and her 2nd Degree from "The Father of Tae Kwon Do" Grand Master Jhoon Rhee. She holds a Master's Degree in Music Education and has over 25 years experience teaching in public school and privately. Master Conover currently studies martial arts under 6th Degree Master Shanon Preston in Mesa, from whom she earned her 3rd, 4th and 5th Degree ranks. In 2018, she completed her first book, "Finding Your Black Belt: How to Kick Ass in Your Own World" which is available on Amazon.  Master Conover is currently a 5th Degree Black Belt (2020) and is a 2019 NASKA World Champion in Creative Weapons and Traditional Forms.

My daughter has been going to KC's for a couple of years now - she started as a Little Dragon and has worked her way up to the big kid classes. All the instructors at KC's are fantastic with the kids - they are encouraging and fun while maintaining respect and discipline from the kids. They work with everyone on their level and push them without judging limitations. Their antibullying work with the kids is tremendous and they are making a difference in our children's schools and in our community. And KC's Family Tae Kwon Do is just that - a family. You are welcomed in when you start and we have always felt treated with warmth and kindness by everyone there. It's a great place to be!
